In the spirit of Halloween I did break down and do it.... I DID BUY A COSTUME FOR MY DOG! I know it is so mean and ridiculous, BUT he looks SO CUTE!
If you cannot tell, Whiskey is a pirate... "AHHRRGG, Da Whiskey!" And a darn cute one in my opinion.
(I know this post is not about a place this time, but I just had to show off his costume)

I think Whiskey looks great as a pirate and not at all upset with wearing the costume. Our daughter dressed up their 1 1/2 year old Golden Retriever in a Superman(dog) costume, complete with cape. He also looked completely happy with being dressed up, but not nearly as happy being mauled by our 8 month-old grandson in a bear costume. Just wanted to let you know, even if we are pet-less, I read your blog now and again. Since we're in the same area, you provide lots of dining and recreation ideas, even for those of us with no furry friends to bring along. Whiskey is a great looking dog!!
dog owners are so mean! but whiskey does make quite the cute pirate, so i guess i won't call peta about animal abuse this time!
